Today we got a rare treat in the Granite Capital ...... it snowed! And it is still snowing this evening. My kids have wanted to see snow very badly and today they got their wish. The weather in NE Georgia doesn't usually bring great promise for snow. We are more likely to get freezing rain than snow, but not today. When the snow started coming down the kids went crazy. They have never seen snow firsthand, so Landon asked his mother, "Mommy, what is that white stuff falling out of the sky?" The snowfall was spectacular and beautiful! The snowflakes were large and the pure white blanket was gorgeous falling from the heavens.
We took advantage to enjoy several snow activities with the kids. We made a snowman and named him "Jack."
The kids made snow angels.
And we had snowball fights!!!
